Last night, I popped up at yet another unique location, part hotel, part café, and part indoor skate park!?
Even when I’m solo dolo, trying to squeeze into a teeny tiny 4 x 4 space, I’m always excited and amazed to run into people supporting Crowne Books.
From the first customer of the day being a returning customer I first met at my Juneteenth pop up, seeing vendors from former events, and hearing the familiar chorus of, “I follow you on Instagram!” (and this time an added I read about you on @citycastslc), the community continues to show up and show out!
I got a chance to shop some amazing local vendors this go around, including @aspengoldcreative , @morsxiiiart & @greycatsyndicate ! And a lucky winner will get Nalo Hopkinson’s novel for free in the group one giveaway.
September and October is jammed packed with pop ups and events, including my three biggest of fall: @utahhumanities Book Festival with our spin-off event featuring local Utah Black authors @sahaelian & @laynajameswrites , @saltlakebookfestival & Crowne Books’ very own Fangs & Fiction!
