Summer Sendoff Utah Market

“Now that’s content!”
A zero sale day. A start up #smallbusiness and #popupshop‘s worst nightmare. Well, that’s what I thought, before a massive storm rolled in, snapped our tent, and shut down the Summer Sendoff Market with a bang!
Every day starting the bookstore isn’t a victory. From the long nights listing books on the website, to the mad scramble to file taxes accurately and promptly. The business side of living the dream is daunting. But I remain grateful for the small wins.
From the couple supporting their daughter in the alley of a coffee shop that didn’t know about @librofm’s mission to support small bookstores, and left Audible to sign up for my shops audiobook program, to the vendors who scrambled to help me and each other as the storm rolled in. Solidarity is everything even on a chaotic day.
Oh, and it can be great content too, especially AFTER you save your merchandise and can live to laugh about it.
Until the next event, make sure to go on crownebooks.com and sign up for our virtual event, Fangs & Fiction, and consider buying a VIP ticket so we can help @bipocvampires goal of ending Sickle Cell!
Until then, I think I may try to plan some more virtual pop ups as Utah’s weather stabilizes.
