Sometimes bookselling isn’t glamorous, but it’s always rewarding! Thank you once again beloved community for showing up and showing out for my booth at @themakershivemarket @atthegateway 

Between adding a rug, fighting with a new (gorgeous) 10 ft tent, spilling my food on myself between greeting customers, and sweating buckets, this was one of the most complicated set ups for an event. But it’s all worth it each time I get to connect with the bookish community in Salt Lake.

Be it my first customer who brought Octavia Butler’s classic Parable of the Sower, who came specifically to see us, and even circled back after we were set up to make sure they could blow their budget on books, or the wonderful family who stopped by and brought something for everyone, you make it all worth it in the end 🤎📚

And special shout out to @lemondripofficial for the lemonade on the house because they’re a book lover who believes in the mission. Show them support next time you’re thirsty in this heat wave we’re all fighting with!
